What To Do After You Are Married

Congratulations!

Now that you are married, you are required to return to the Iberia Parish Clerk of Court office the 2 completed marriage licenses. Once we receive them, we will provide you with one certified copy of your marriage license. 

You will use this certified copy to make any legal name changes (at the DMV, Social Security Office, etc.), make changes/additions to insurance, etc. 

If you need additional certified copies at any time, we can provide those to you for a $6.00 fee.
