Public Records Request

Pursuant to La. R.S. 44:33.1, the Iberia  Parish Clerk of Court publishes the name and contact information of its custodian of public records. Public Records requests may be initiated using our request form.

All public records requests should be specific in the request.  If associated fees are applicable, you will be notified of such fees prior to releasing the requested information.

Civil, criminal, traffic, marriage license, and mortgage & conveyance records are available for public viewing Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with the exception of holidays and court/parish ordered closings. No appointment is necessary. Access to records is free; patrons pay only for copies. Online access to many records is available via the clerk’s subscription-based service, access fees apply.

Juvenile, adoption, and court-ordered sealed records are not accessible to the public. Persons wishing to view those records may need to petition the court for access.
