Welcome to the Janell Derouen Wedding Chapel

Located within the Iberia Parish Clerk of Court office.

Janell is a 21 year Clerk team member who retired on May 31, 2020.

Janell has always decorated our office for holidays and arrange festive meals for special occasions, so it is only fitting to have asked her to design and build our wedding chapel.

Free Wedding Chapel Service

With electric drills and her hot glue gun in hand, Janell designed, built, and decorated this beautiful chapel for couples to enjoy on their special day. This chapel was a vision of our clerk, David Ditch, to ensure that this FREE service could be provided to our residents because everyone deserves the best on their special day.
