As per Article 983 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, expungement payments "may be made by United States postal money orders or money orders issued by any state or national bank or by checks issued by a law firm or an attorney." No personal checks, cash or debit / credit cards are accepted. The applicable processing fees are non-refundable (CCRP 983 B & E), even if the court does not grant the motion for expungement.
